Perhaps the most intriguing thing about Kaya cloth is that it's not even at its best when it's brand new.

The more you wash and use it, the softer it becomes as layers of air form between the sheets of fabric. At the same time, the fibers loosen up, making it easier for each individual fiber to absorb water. The result? It actually becomes more absorbent with use.
